1) Set intentions
Set positive intentions for yourself, like I am healing or I am at peace. Set positive intentions for other people, like friends and family members, who are facing difficult times. You can also set positive intentions in terms of your career or business. Setting good intentions may sound a little woo-woo or strange to you, but there is actually some real science behind it.
2) Smudge yourself
A smudge stick is a bundle of dried herbs. They’re typically made from white sage, but you can also use palo santo, rosemary or cedar—all of which have cleansing properties. The main idea behind using a smudge stick is to fan out its smoke around you in order to clear away negativity and unwanted energies. You can also bury a smudge stick in your garden or hang it from an indoor fixture like a chandelier or ceiling fan.
